Modalities & Sessions

1. Myofascial Release & Unwinding:

Gentle, Profound Healing

What It Is:

Myofascial Release and Unwinding are hands-on therapies that gently release tension in the fascia—the body’s connective tissue. These restrictions often result from physical or emotional trauma, injury, or chronic stress. This work restores balance, ease, and freedom throughout the body.

Myofascial Release and Unwinding deeply works the central nervous system, giving a depth of rest and restoration that regular sleep doesn't typically allow. It's a real win win modality in that you receive tissue manipulation while feeling nervous system down regulation. It really blends multiple modalities into one.

How It Works:

Sustained, gentle pressure is applied to tight areas, allowing the fascia to soften and release. Unwinding supports spontaneous movement that helps the body self-correct and let go of stored tension. The process is led by the body’s innate intelligence rather than forced manipulation.

Before Treatment:

Clients often arrive feeling stuck, tense, or weighed down—physically or emotionally. They may notice pain, restricted movement, or a general sense of disconnection. Many feel like they’re holding more than they can process.

During Treatment:

You may feel slow stretching, subtle internal shifts, or emotional release. The body may naturally move, unwind, or settle into stillness. Many experience deep relaxation, presence, and a return to embodied awareness.

After Treatment:

People often leave feeling lighter, more open, and pain-free. There’s a renewed sense of alignment, breath, and emotional clarity. Many describe it as coming home to their body with ease and grace.

2. NeuroMuscular Reprogramming (NMR):

Restore Function, Repattern the Body

What It Is:

NeuroMuscular Reprogramming (NMR) is a hands-on technique that helps the brain and body relearn optimal movement patterns by correcting muscular coordination at the source. It works with the neuromuscular system to identify and reorganize dysfunctional compensation patterns. This supports long-term relief from chronic pain, gait imbalances, and movement limitations.

How It Works:

The practitioner uses muscle testing and precise manual cues to identify which muscles are not firing properly and which are compensating. Through gentle re-coordination, the nervous system is prompted to “reboot” efficient movement patterns, improving balance and symmetry. As your gait realigns, movement feels smoother, more supported, and naturally grounded.

Before Treatment:

Clients often feel misaligned, restricted, or chronically tight—especially in the hips, knees, feet, or low back. Many notice their gait feels off or asymmetrical, with one side working harder than the other. There’s often fatigue from overcompensation and a sense of disconnection from the ground or center.

During Treatment:

You’ll be guided through slow, intentional movements while the practitioner tests and re-coordinates specific muscle groups. The work is active but gentle, often producing immediate shifts in posture, gait, and tension. Many experience a grounded sense of support and clearer coordination as the session unfolds.

After Treatment:

Clients typically feel more aligned, balanced, and lighter in their movement. Walking becomes smoother and more fluid, with a grounded, centered gait that requires less effort. You leave with a sense of functional ease—like your body is working for you, not against you.

2A. Integrative Bodywork Session:

Benefits of Integrative Bodywork Session

This session blends NeuroMuscular Reprogramming with restorative table work to correct dysfunctional movement patterns, unwind chronic tension, and restore structural balance from the inside out.

Using precise muscle testing and re-coordination techniques, we identify what’s overworking, what’s under-engaged, and how your body can function more efficiently. When paired with the unwinding of fascia and nervous system regulation, the results are lasting and holistic.

Ideal for those recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or feeling “out of sync” in their body, this work addresses the root of imbalances rather than chasing symptoms.

You’ll be guided through gentle re-patterning movements while receiving hands-on support that invites your system to let go and reorganize.

Clients often leave feeling more structurally aligned, pain-free, and connected to their strength with ease.

3. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy:

Deep Stillness, Profound Reorganization

What It Is:

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive touch therapy that supports the body’s natural ability to heal and self-regulate. It works with the craniosacral system—bones, fluids, and tissues surrounding the brain and spine. By attuning to the body’s deep rhythms, it helps unwind trauma patterns held in the nervous system.

How It Works:

Using light, still touch, the practitioner tunes into the body’s subtle movements and natural ordering forces. This creates a safe, regulated field where the nervous system can shift from survival mode into rest, repair, and integration. Over time, this allows unresolved trauma to gently surface, be witnessed, and complete without reactivation.

Before Treatment:

Clients often arrive feeling overwhelmed, depleted, anxious, or disconnected. They may carry chronic stress, trauma, or nervous system dysregulation. The body may be stuck in fight, flight, or freeze without a clear path toward resolution.

During Treatment:

You may feel subtle waves, deep stillness, or warmth as your system slows down and unwinds. There may be emotional releases, inner imagery, or a sense of spaciousness and safety. This state of deep regulation creates the conditions necessary for trauma to safely resolve at its own pace.

After Treatment:

Clients often feel deeply rested, centered, and reconnected. Symptoms like anxiety, headaches, or tension frequently diminish or dissolve. Many leave with a sense of clarity, calm, and a nervous system that feels more balanced, resilient, and whole.

4. Hakomi:

Somatic Mindfulness for Deep Inner Transformation

What It Is:

Hakomi is a body-centered, somatic psychotherapeutic method that uses mindfulness and gentle curiosity to explore unconscious beliefs held in the body. It is experiential, meaning we work with what’s arising in real time—sensations, emotions, gestures, and impulses. This approach gently reveals core material that shapes how we experience ourselves, others, and the world.

How It Works:

Through mindful presence and attuned guidance, the practitioner creates a safe space where the nervous system can slow down and self-reflect. Somatic cues and felt experiences are followed, allowing implicit memories and patterns to surface organically. As insight arises in the body, the system naturally reorganizes around more integrated, compassionate truths.

Before Treatment:

Clients often feel stuck in emotional loops, disconnected from their bodies, or burdened by unconscious patterns. They may sense that talk therapy isn’t reaching the depth they’re longing for. There’s often a yearning to connect the dots between their inner experience and their outer challenges.

During Treatment:

You are invited into a state of mindful self-inquiry, often while lying down or in a supported seated posture. The body becomes the doorway into deeper awareness, as sensations and emotions are welcomed with non-judgmental presence. This can be seamlessly woven into table work, enhancing the therapeutic depth of modalities like Craniosacral or Myofascial Release.

After Treatment:

Clients report a sense of emotional relief, clarity, and increased self-compassion. Old patterns often lose their charge, and new, more life-affirming choices feel possible. The nervous system feels more regulated, and the body holds a renewed sense of wholeness, safety, and inner coherence.

5. Somatic Guidance & Resourcing:

Grounded Growth Through the Body

What It Is:

Somatic Guidance & Resourcing is a body-centered approach to personal development that helps you build awareness, capacity, and choice in how you meet life. Rather than focusing only on mindset or behavior, this work invites your body into the process—where real, lasting change happens. It helps regulate the nervous system, increase resilience, and access deeper levels of authenticity and power.

How It Works:

Through guided inquiry, movement, breath, and nervous system tracking, we identify the body’s cues, patterns, and responses to stress, challenge, or desire. Resourcing practices help you anchor into safety and strength—even while exploring uncomfortable or triggering territory. Over time, you develop a greater ability to stay present, grounded, and empowered in more of life’s moments.

Before Treatment:

Clients often arrive feeling overwhelmed, dysregulated, or disconnected from their bodies and inner clarity. There may be patterns of burnout, reactivity, indecision, or emotional shutdown. Many have tried cognitive or behavioral approaches but long for a deeper sense of wholeness and internal alignment.

During Treatment:

Sessions may include seated conversation, somatic tracking, breathwork, visualization, or gentle movement—always guided by what your body is communicating. You’ll build tools to work with your own physiology, re-pattern stress responses, and reconnect to inner resources. Each session unfolds organically, meeting you exactly where you are.

After Treatment:

Clients report feeling more centered, clear, and at home in themselves. They experience greater emotional regulation, nervous system resilience, and embodied confidence. Over time, life begins to feel more spacious, responsive, and aligned with their values and truth.

5A. Somatic Depth Guidance Session:

What clients are saying…

This is the work!

Jess is able to identify and address bound up tension patterns that cause recurring restrictions and chronic pain, like the ones that I had been trying to manage with biweekly spa style massages. These same patterns were derailing my training and overall strength and causing me to miss out on all sorts of fun activities. Jess is an educator of his clients and re-educator of their muscles. I cannot say enough about the difference he can make in a person’s life and experience in their body. ~ Kat

Excellent first session

My first session was last week and Jess meticulously spent the time to understand not only my specific injury but the mechanics of my whole body and motion. This allowed him to treat not only my targeted injury but all of the other biomechanics that were part of the cause of the injury in the first place. I really appreciated his thoroughness and professionalism as he has a plan to help me long term. I look forward to my next session. ~ Nick N.

Jesus is an amazing bodyworker

Just walking into Jesus' space makes me feel very peaceful and abundant (like his hair and beard). It is - well, dare I say it? - a transcendental moment. It is. It really is. ~ Anonymous
